If this is wrong please school me on the etiquette. I think it looks good. When I find my 2A American flag it will replace it, this one will go to the other corner

Keeping the flag lit is the key. I have one that I no longer take down because it is placed in a lit location.

Yeah, I got tired of having to remember to take it down at night. That light ring is reasonable on Amazon :seasix: Although, I did have to Mickey rig it a bit to make it work

Looks good. I got a nylon one with embroidered stars that is looking pretty sweet, but I'll definitely check it every day for wear and tear. I get pretty confused when I look at disposal opportunities. I have a few that need disposal and I've been holding on to them. Boy Scouts, etc. have put stuff up, but it always seems so complicated. Flags are becoming the next electronic disposal.

The local American Legion has a box outside where you just put worn flags in, and they dispose of them in a ceremony on Memorial Day.

I like that setup....:USA:

My 25' flag pole is always illuminated, when impending bad weather is expected, I take them down, otherwise 24/7.

I was taught to illuminate the flag from the ground when honoring it at night. :patriot:
