Interesting
Just saw this article the other day. Interesting what GM is doing for the Corvette.
http://www.examiner.com/x-11235-Corv...or-March-issue |
" With 775 HP and city fuel economy of 40 MPG, the Corvette enthusiast who normally would see a dramatic drop in fuel economy when they enhance their vehicles with aftermarket add-ons, will have the benefit of actually increasing fuel economy of up to 150% coupled with an increase in horsepower of up to 84%. "
Holy smokes! :explode: |
That's impressive, I wonder how they are achieving that? Is it electric under 20 MPH and as soon as you romp on it, the engine turns on a spools the twin turbos? :willy: Too bad it's a C6...
|
With 775 HP I wouldn't care if it ran on kittens. I'd buy one.:o_o:
|
I'd like to see the powertrain setup.
|
I just have to wonder if any "After Market" items will be developed with the technology that they are going to use. But then again I can only imagine the price of such technology...
|
775HP, 690TQ, 40MPG city....holy smokes! We'll put the C6 over in that section.
:o_o: |
I will trade in our 09 for one, more HP and gas mileage can not go wrong here:drivingskid:
