After all the trouble you went through to get it painted...that's kinda funny B.

So, I take it you finally got it de-modded.

I sold the DRM hood and TS nose early this year... I am re-doing the car, but not repainting it for awhile. Doing my supension and exaust this winter (Pfadt, ARH, Corsa) ten getting new CCWs then going to drive it as McVette for awhile. Spending a bunch on my house this winter so the car can take a back burner for awhile.

I feel you, I have new wheels, C6Z's (18 x 9.5 & 19 x 11) just sitting in the shed, and things keep coming up that take me away from putting rubber on them...ugh

Manager at McDonalds gave me free breakfast one Saturday AM... that was funny. I think your average person doesn't even pay attention. I'd guess most people would think it was wrecked and repaired but not painted yet.

Honestly it doesn't bug me at all because I'm not really focused on cars and when I eventually do re-do it I want to paint it like a C4 GrandSport.

Kevin, that suspension setup looks too good to be hidden under the car :banghead:. Love those FRC's too, that engine bay is sick!

They're not FRCs (fuel rail covers)... they're real valve-cover and the coilpacks are hidden.

Thanks! I joked with Ed that LG should send little plastic replicas of the coilovers to hang from the mirror. They are absolutely beautiful and WORK!

Can you give me some info on how you did the lights(all the interior) and the lights in the side vents(is it RPM specific?) and the door handles. These are mods I want to do.. :banana::banana:

181K miles - daily driver But I'm such a bad influence on him. He liked my lifted 2 door Wrangler so much that he traded it in on a 4 door Wrangler Unlimited and the mods started the next day.

Yes, it's a badazz car and he put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into that thing, but it was a lot more trouble than it was worth. 2 years ago that car meant more to him than anything in the world (except his son, of course). He's a lot different now and even tho' he'll have another cool vette someday, we needed something that his son could ride in comfortably. The 4 door Jeep is a great choice because we can all fit in it (and the dogs, too), and it's something that can be modded to make it a one of a kind.

Liz has some beautiful vehicles - but you have to see Hooters in person. I swear it's a bisexual machine - when she started her up, Tucker got aroused and so did I. I thought we were both going to just stand there and cry. But the one thing about Liz - she can really DRIVE what she owns. :p I drive a stick most every day, but at the dragstrip I'm usually in my automatic.

The funniest run wasn't even about the rev limiter, though. It was when the z06 didn't hook up and, for a brief moment in time, Datawiz saw his z in the rearview mirror of his truck.

Me2...I think Tucker would have written me a check right then for HOOTERS if I'd let him. lol

I used to LOVE riding my 3 wheeler on the trails. It will probably be scarier up in the air and with alot more money in my jeep, though! Can't wait to get out there and try it!

Just wait a bit, I'm trying to mod some Halos with Clear lenses. I recently installed some custom clear front corner housings and clear rear side markers so I'm going to try and continue that theme around to the rear end...

She was a daily driver too. I was heading to work during a bad storm and took a detour thinking it would have been higher ground, turned a blind curve forgot about a dip, and basically wound up in a to foot deep pond. I had spent close just shy of 25K putting in the ZZ4 crate motor, JET underdrive pulleys and computer, stereo/alarm, C4 body upgrade (it was an 85 with the 96 body kit), hood, paint, Lingenfelter injectors, ZR-1 wheels, etc. I loved the car, but was not willing to put as much $$$ into it as it needed...plus it gave me an excuse to finally get a C5 vert. :bilmem:
