:iagree: EXACTLY If you want an SUV just buy a tried and proven Tahoe.

The whole idea seems nonsensical to me, but I don't think I'll let it bother me much. Anyone who knows cars will know the difference between a real Corvette and an SUV by the same or any other name. I don't foresee it devaluing a real Corvette.

Seems to me it'd be a lot worse if they call it a Corvette Sting Ray (or Stingray).

It's all BS, C&D's effort to make money or get clicks. I heard (can't verify) GM says it ain't happening.

There are always offshoots of elegant designs that don't work out, like the 4 passenger split window
