65 frame VIN locations
 

Going through some research on my 65 roadster. I have located the frame VIN on the kickup section but can't find the one on the frame section near driver's seat. Forum says there should be one about 12" forward of kickup start. Have cleaned the top of the frame from kickup forward for 24" plus - still no sign of any numbers. Is it possible there was only one number location in 65 or could the second number be elsewhere?
