I stood in line for literally hours in the sweltering Houston Summer to see candidate Trump speak at the Woodlands Convention Center. When he campaigned for Ted Cruz at the Toyota Center, I went just to hang out in the overflow crowd outside and watched him on the jumbotrons they had set up.

Hopefully, President Trump will come to campaign for Texas candidates in the 2022 election. I'll definitely go see him then, too.

The only other president I saw in person was Reagan and I camped out all night for tickets for that.

All of them in between I wouldn't cross the street to go see.

I have been on base when GW Bush was on it, but have never seen nor met a president. I have a friend up there, and he told me it was packed.

Why do Americans attend 4th of July celebrations?

A: They love America, and want to celebrate America and being pro-American, with other Americans that feel similarly.

Being outside at the Toyota Center was fun, a street fair like event. They had the protestors cordoned off in another area, and bless their hearts, they were chanting and making noise the whole night, off in the distance. There was a smattering of protestors walking through the Trump crowd with signs, and there was some clever banter back and forth, funny quips, but no violence. Again just a fun crowd to be in.
