"James, please confirm your appointment!"
got a text yesterday, and again this morning, from some doctor's office, looking to have James confirm his appointment tomorrow at 3pm.
tried replying to the text, nope, unmonitored line. so today i called the number in the text, talked to a very nice lady, and told her there is no James at the number you are sending a text to. "do you have James's last name?" "no....i don't know who James is, you have the wrong number" "what's your name, so I can find your chart?" "i'm not a patient, you don't have a chart for me, just my phone number. apparently James has an appointment at 3pm tomorrow" "oh! now i know who it is, but we don't have a number for him." "neither do I, good luck" :slap: |

I got an offer that said
Duane, we'd like to by your home at 12345 West north street That's not my name and not where I live, but I invited them to come and see it just the same. |
I've had a couple of those - I just go ahead and confirm then block the number after that.

When I was recovering from knee surgery ( a couple days after), I was sitting in the Suburban while Mary walked the dog at the local park.
My phone rings, I don't recognize so I let it go to voice mail. The voice says the pick up spot for "little Johnie" has been moved to the other side of the building. Since we're talking a kid, I texted back and explained it was a wrong number and that the number should be checked. They texted back to thank me and found they had miss dialed. |
please confirm your appointment
Thought this might be about that nominee for BATF being withdrawn
