Just found out about it a little while ago, but it happened last night. You can read the article and draw your own conclusion, and you will officially know as much as me. I have my suspicions though.

Haven't heard yet, but yes, that is my suspicion. Who knows though. I can't even imagine some local meth heads being that stupid. Either way, it didn't end well for them. I just went back and read the other article which had a link. I'm sorry, but if I was the Colonel, I wouldn't apologize for jack shit. You ran the gate, cops through up the barrier as they are supposed to, perps are dead. Oh well....

Regardless of ....... shall we say "origin" ...... they made a fatal mistake in trying to rush a military complex.

Good to hear the barrier worked as designed and there wasn't any secondary incidents triggered by the sudden stop.

Got THAT right, wonder if the car was rigged and the bomb failed to explode....but then why THREE on board? something don't add up.....

News today says no weapons on board, and none of the occupants had any ID. This is as local as it can get for me, and nothing really so far.:confused5:

If you watch Live PD, it seems that about half the people they pullover have no ID, no insurance, wrong plates on the car, etc. Then they write them a ticket and ask them to call someone with a license who can drive the car.

In my state the wrong plates on the car can be a felony that gets you arrested and your car impounded.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — UPDATE, 12:45 p.m.

Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin has identified the three men killed in Friday’s wreck at a Robins Air Force Base gate.

Galpin says Yanny Perez-Perez, Adar Lopez-Morales, and Evelio Perez were the three men in the car that died as a result of the crash.

He says he knows Perez-Perez is 20-years-old, but does not have date of births for the others. He also says they’re from Guatemala.

Maybe border running was a habit.

They picked the wrong border.

It appears that walls work.

I can not garner any sympathy or empathy whatsoever.

I don't think anyone on base cares either. We were just happy that the barriers worked as advertised, and that Security Forces were on their toes. Other than that, just another day at the office.:seasix:
