cooking eggs

as we age, many find they need to adjust their eating habits. some who love eggs have to switch to soft boiled so they don't hurt themselves. how do you know its just right.....simple, get you one of these puppies.

I never heard of it before and thought it was a great idea. I like soft boiled sometimes and always overcook them.

It's great for softboil eggs, softboil + (ie. Home made Ramen Noodle Soup), semi Hardboil for oven baked Scotch eggs etc.

easy to clean - rinse

Curious how anyone hurts themselves with an egg?

Meh, I jsut set the timer on the InstaPot and wait for the beeping to start. Much easier.

I never chipped a tooth on a hard boiled egg.

Put egg in pot with water covering egg, turn heat on, when water boils turn heat off, let stand 10 minutes on stove. Perfectly cooked hard boiled egg. :yesnod:

Amazing how many different ways there are to get the perfect egg

I put eggs in water then bring to a boil, let boil for 4 minutes then cool and peal....son in law boils water first then puts egg in for 6 minutes :Jeff '79:
Mine come out great but I will try others to see:seasix:

Place eggs in pan...add water... medium heat. Once boiling starts, put on lid remove from heat. 5 minutes soft boil...8 minutes medium or semi soft...10 minutes hard boil. Gram taught me many years ago.

See yours is the same as mine for the hard boiled part. Except you put the lid on.
