Some Love for Best Buy
 

I bought a new laptop from Best Buy last week. It's a beast of a gaming laptop that cost me $1799. Yesterday I was window shopping on Bestbuy.com and was curious to see if this model was still available as I've been reading they are hard to find only to see the price was dropped $300. I was pissed.
I then started researching Best Buys price match and some on Reddit were saying they would honor the price match even when BB lowers the price. They only caveat is you have to still be in their return window. Luckily I bought it during their pre black Friday event which has a January 16th return window.
This morning I went on BB.com and chatted with them and they honored the price match and I'm getting my $300 back!!!!
Way to go Best Buy.

$1800? Can a guy even buy a graphics card for that anymore? :lol: No, because there aren't any in stock. Someone said checking box stores for them could be a good way to get around scalpers buying up all the stock but I'm not driving a 50 mile round trip just to be disappointed.

My most recent laptop was $8,000. You got a steal of a deal. :cert: Glad you got your $300 back.
