Sounds like a hate crime, in addition to actionable discrimination. The drag queens should sue the parade organizers. I'm sure they have an insurance policy for the event. I'd LOVE to award them some damages!

Seems there is no problem to have political threads banished, immediately, from OT. Apparently, some regard the subject to be "offensive". Current events? I would think so.

That being said, I find gay threads highly offensive. I doubt I am alone feeling this way.

How about the Powers that Be on this site, add a new section where all this type of information can be posted, discussed and enjoyed by anyone who finds these things of interest.

"Simply don't open the political threads" isn't enough, or so it seems, they MUST disappear.

In reference to this, it is the idea that gender is not just male and female but anything anyone wants it to be.
