Just got a visit from the BATF
 

A guy came to my door and rang the bell. Showed me his ID and said he was from the BATF. ID looked good as far as I can tell.

He was an old rumpled guy so he looked the part. He was not armed.

He was asking about a former neighbor who was a cop. He asked me if I could confirm where he lived. I said yes.

Then, he whips out file folder and asks me my name. I told him I wasn't going to give him any information.

In fact I said "If the Federal Government comes to my door asking me questions, I hope you understand, I won't answer any. Sorry."

He asked me if I was a cop. (he noticed my duty belt with mags and sidearm). I said "no."

With that he was on his way.

WTF?

I had two German Shepherds grumbling behind me (told them to stay). Must have looked like he stumbled into some FBI covert operation. Which, of course, is absolutely not the case. I mean, that would be crazy. Serious, this is not an FBI covert operation.

Good thing I didn't give him any info. I have orders to kill anyone who knows what I know.

Try driving 70 in a 60 and see how great the Florida troopers are. Both times I have been to Florida I have never seen so many state police staking out the highways doing their speed trap things.
