Prayer request-- co workers son in bad accident [Final Update]

I am giving the final update with a heavy heart. Jason succumbed to his injuries and passed late last Thursday night. :sadangel:

When the medical examiner is done, he will be cremated. He leaves behind his wife, a son, an unborn child and his parents :sad:

Please continue to pray for those left behind. :sadangel:

Early last week, Jim left work suddenly after getting a phone call. Turns out his son Jason was involved in a multi vehicle accident. ( hit from behind)

Jason has a been in a coma ever since. Jim called into work and said things aren't looking so good. :sadangel:

A prayer or good thought for Jason, his wife and son would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeff

Jason just got married between Christmas and New Year. Life can change in an instant :sad:

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jason is doing slightly better, I'm sure the prayers helped. The good part is he would slightly squeeze his hand when talked to. The bad part was the pressure in his brain would rise. The Drs decided it would be best to keep him sedated ( medical coma ) to help reduce the pressure in his brain.
I told Jim about the thread and he expressed his heartfelt thanks for the prayers. :angel:
UPDATE 2-22-2013
I had Jim email me an update on how Jason's doing. He's going to need plenty of prayers for quite a while :sadangel:
Jason is now out of the hospital ICU. He is currently in a nursing home called Arista Care located in Plymouth Meeting. He receiving therapy he opens his eyes when you talk to him. Sometimes he follows peoples movement with his eyes but , that takes alot of energy. He still doesn't have any feeling in his lower extremities and he doesn't communicate at all.
Jim
Dear Father God,
We ask that you be with Jason in this time of pain and suffering. We ask that you grant him relief and we ask that you make your presence known to Jason. We ask that you guide and give the doctors and nurses skills and knowledge that can only come from your divine presence.
We ask that you will be with Jason's family and friends. We ask that you give them the peace to know that Jason is in your divine hands.
We ask these things in the name of your Holy Son Jesus Christ.
Amen
Thank you Lord, for the Blessing of Jason in so many lives. Father, it's so hard for us to understand why such tragedies happen, but nothing happens outside your awareness.
We pray that Jason be fully and completely healed to be all he was created to be. We pray he'll be a great man of God in life according to Your plan for him.
May He be a living example of the Salvation of the Lord and not miss his spiritual destiny. I pray he's found his purpose in life. If he hasn't received you in his heart, then I pray this will occur while he's in his coma.
Mercifully, You are the God of multiple chances, and we ask that for Jason today in both receiving You in asking forgiveness for his sins and for healing. We pray for a miracle that will reveal Your love for Jason and His family to others.
Cease the swelling and inflammation of his brain and reveal signs of life. May he respond in some way showing there's life within.
Heal this young man we pray and comfort his family and friends as only You can. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen! :angel: :angel: :angel:
Truly sorry to hear. It is hard on those left behind, especially when it seems at times they may recover. Went through that with my sister in law. She was hospitalized from Dec 21 until she passed a couple of weeks ago.
Just be there for your friend. Sometimes that's all you can do, but it will help.:sadangel:
