Anyone else have the twilight sentinal feature? Like it?

This is new to me in a Corvette.... the 2001 Z doesn't have it, my old '98 track rad didn't have it, my father's '04 Z didn't and my mother's '99 vert didn't.

When was this introduced? I didn't think I'd like it w/ the flip up lights, but I tried it out last night and it's great. Nice to have the lights just go off when you shut the car off w/o having to turn them off. I know it's pretty insignificant, but it's neat.

I've gotten so accustomed to my auto headlights in my Canyon that it's odd to have to turn lights on manually anymore

It came out in 1999, and was an individual option ($60) on 1999 and 2000 coupes/verts.
In 2001 and later years. it wasn't individually available, but was included in the 1SC option pkg for coupes/verts.

As best I can tell, it was not available at all on FRC and Z06s. Although it might on Canadian export versions, as the feature was standard and not defeatable on those export cars. (can't toggle it off in the DIC options).

My 2001 has it, but I have the feature turned off. Mainly because I like to run with just the fog lights on when it's not totally dark out. That, and having the lights flip up just pulling into the garage is a bit annoying too.

I have it turned off for the exact same reasons stated above. I really like it on my wifes Altima though.

My 2002 Z71 has it and my wifes Tahoe has it. I like it.

Makes sense... maybe I'll turn it off when the days get longer and I'm getting home from work in the light.

My father's 2500 Duramax has it, it is a nice little feature.

My vert is a Canadian model and from my understanding it is a federal regulations that after a certain model year all of them have to have auto headlights. Mine had been bypassed by the previous owner.
