New member from the CF after 20 years
 

I'm the young guy that got into this hobby 20 years ago at 27... learned a lot from the CF but it's apparent the mods there are a bunch of losers in the Midyear forum. I hope I can contribute here what I have learned over the last 20 years of turning wrenches on midyears.

Welcome. I stopped posting over there in the C1-C2 forums after 6 or 7 years due to being banned for speaking the truth. Most of the knowledgeable C1-C2 guys got banned forever or left in disgust at the woke politics going on over there. **** that place.
Again, welcome. Some very sharp guys here if you shout out.

I found that bashing the CF is a waste of time. Most folks there have no idea there comments are incorrect. The most correct opinions/answers will come from the NCRS Technical Board or here.

Post your question in both areas and assess the results. If you are not an NCRS member, join, it's the best value for the $$$ you can find about vintage Corvettes.

I have been an NCRS member twice, first in the early years (1976) and again about 10 years ago. They are great for all the nuances for originality but as soon as you deviate from that they totally loose interest in being helpful which is understandable given their purpose. This is why I prefer forums like this.
