Nothing wrong with copper besides the price for supply lines, hard to beat cast iron drain lines for quiet in a house.

And yes all those pics are real, I've seen as bad many times. One guy used play doh to make a drain pipe fit inside another pipe under kitchen sink instead of an adapter.

I actually saw something worse than this in a rental house we had for a week in Costa Rica. It was in our shower and I made sure the fuse to that circuit was definitely not in the fuse box. It meant we had no light or fan in there though so I had to put the fuse in a few times at night.

I wonder if the water tingles when it hits you.
But, then again, I wouldn't try it.

At my parent's house years ago, I had some friends over and when we would get near the deep end, the water would buzz you. You could feel the tingle.

That's the end that had the pool light in it. :willy:
