C8 pricing

Base model you can get an MSRP of $59,995 and a loaded 3LT I just did at $88,500

bsmith 08-15-2019 12:30pm

$59995 including destination charge. :yesnod:

snide 08-15-2019 1:29pm

Once I know I fit, I'll probably say "Sign me up!".

snide 08-15-2019 1:43pm

Tony,

Can I get a price on a 2LT with both tops, body color, and Z51? Quote me the MSRP as well as 5% below invoice. Blue with black guts.

KTHXBAI.

Mike Mercury 08-15-2019 2:53pm

Since the 1970's I've wanted a mid-engined Corvette; hoping that someday it would be a reality.

But... does it have to be this one (the C8) ?

In about 10 days I'll be looking & sitting in six of them... will make my decision then.

Rob 08-15-2019 3:24pm

What is the R8C option running?

That for the scrupulous dealers, I'm think there are going to be a lot of dealers putting on ADP and ADM( Additional dealer profit and additional dealer mark) up charges on the car. You also know there are a lot of people with more money that brains that will pay the addition mark up ($5,000 to $20,000) to get one. Got to be the first with a new car dontchknow!:bfd:

You can bet money that the dealers are going to really rip people off for a while. That sucks, but it's reality. No different than what HD dealers did to people for years. They are probably wishing they had treated people right at this point.

Yep; Keith (kvozel) and I are going; leaving VERY early Friday AM. Spend 2 days there; return home on Sunday.

Stangkiller 08-15-2019 7:20pm

The 2lt package price is killing me. All I’d want is vented seats and HUD. But I don’t see those two options worth $7,300.

markids77 08-15-2019 7:48pm

I suspect I might be GMs target demographic... late middle age in my prime earning years with an empty nest. I loved the C5, Liked the C6 and the C7 was OK. This new car does nothing to light my fire. After all the rumors, sneak pics, waiting and waiting and the hype I find I hate the new car because it looks like something an entrepreneur with a "vision" and a 3d printer butchered onto a Camaro. Flame suit ON.

Datawiz 08-15-2019 8:05pm

My birthday next year! August.

Both Z's will be fully paid off. Time for datawiz to have his first new car since 2008. :yesnod: 09 was used. It's a done deal. Also some likely interesting news tomorrow on my front as well. :yesnod:

2LT includes memory, so if the wife or someone else were to drive your Vette, your settings wouldn't be all ****ed up. That is worth coin to me.

GRN ENVY 08-16-2019 9:13am

Exactly...just a bunch of STUFF. If i'm getting performance exhaust why do i need an upgraded stereo? I don't use powerfolding mirrors don't want GM Navigation, I don't want Any of that other crap.

Alright maybe the universal Garage door opener, but it ain't worth $7,300

snide 08-16-2019 10:17am

Do the mirrors trap a couple of gallons of water like the C5s and C6s, and hold that water for days after you wash the car? :bigears:

So did I, but when you put things in perspective, I paid just under that for my '08 Z, and shy of 10 hp, the cars have the same power numbers, but mid-engine, so WAY better performance. Also, a few years down the road, there will be plenty of discounts. :yesnod:

This is just one reason why I don't need to be the first on the block to buy one. :yesnod:

I was just hoping to be closer to 70 than 80. The next few months will determine if I will put in an order. Some organizational movement at work may benefit me to do this sooner than later.
