32 years? That's all? Hell the Rangers have gone longer than that

It’s hard to believe it’s been so long since they won. Congrats Dodger fans. They deserved to win.

But, your gingers creep me out.

This is the first pro Baseball game I've watched all season. I haven't watched any other pro sports in months aside from Golf. But it was my Dodgers and I wasn't going to miss seeing them win it all. I have to admit it was kind of nice: No BLM nonsense, no political chatter on anyones part or stupid messages painted on the field. Just a good ballgame. All that was missing was Vin Scully. And my Dad.

And they built a shiny new stadium when the "old" stadium was an ancient 25 years old! Hey Rangers Front Office! How about spending money on some championship caliber players before you build a stadium that you really didn't need?

This was the only game of the series I watched and even then it was just the last half-inning. I have started losing a lot of interest in professional sports over the past several years. I still enjoy going to a good ballgame every now and then but it just doesn't draw me like it once did.

At least if I go play golf, I can enrich my vocabulary, prove many laws of physics completely wrong, (a round ball with dimples isn't supposed to curve that far), and join three other fat guys in the "FOUR FAT GUYS 500" 500 being the total score, not the distance.

L.A Lakers :yesnod: L.A Dodgers :yesnod: L.A Rams or Chargers...never mind.

Speaking of people who should be stripped of their title (like, say, the Astros), I thought it was hysterical when the fans started booing Commissioner Rob Manfred when he came up to present the Series MVP Trophy to Cory Seeger. I'm sure that when Manfred was made Commissioner, Kenesaw Mountain Landis turned over in his grave.

What's even funnier is that the game was held in Texas and the fan base was clearly on the side of the Dodgers. Just shows how many people from L.A. have moved here to get out.

Eh.....some could move back and I'd be ok with it. :leaving:

Didn't watch. Oh, they didn't do any pro-Marxist BLM virtual signalling that day? Sweet! That's like the Muslims saying, "Hey, look at us, we didn't stab anyone yesterday! We're peaceful, you should support us."

Oh, wait, the Muzzies DID stab people yesterday. Bad example, but I think we can see where I'm going with this......

I can see where YOU are going with it. I didn't spend any time rubbing my hands together just waiting for the slightest sign of "Marxist" propaganda. I watched baseball, my team won, I reminisced about my dad and enjoyed without spending one minute in the conspiracy corner.
