Do (Any of)You Remember This Hard-Planned/Communicated US Progress?

A bit before my time, but I was very impressed how many factions could come together in a straightforward national debate for our nation’s greater good (economic benefits s, defense, road safety, et al). Well communicated. Seems shortly after that Pres. Kennedy wanted to take the momentum that Eisenhower started - so, we built a path to the moon! We could learn a helluva lot of society/political lessons from this, today. I’m an unabashed Republican but I feel we’re equally a drag with our leader’s draconian approach vs. Eisenhower, Kennedy and Reagan. I hope he gets reelected for so many reasons but this ‘us vs. them can’t continue on both sides.

I also have a first-time appreciation for ‘late 50’s cars - snazzy factory paint jobs!!

I saw this years ago and then I lost both track and thought of it.
Cool on so many levels. All that now-vintage rolling iron from the past!
And the civil, even-handed discussions and considerations presented.
Thanks for posting this, I really enjoyed it!:seasix:
