While on a cruise a few years back I shared a table with a guy that was heavily tattooed. He told me the stories behind several of them and what they meant to him. None of them were the result of a night of partying ending with a trip to the parlor to get some ink or just to have another picture on his skin. It changed the way I look at them regardless of gender. I still don't like them when they appear generic or just adornment.



I'll probably never have any but understand why normal, thoughtful people sometimes do.

On a women it's a total distraction for me. If the gal had a small one on her butt cheek that was even covered up with a bikini bottom that would okay for me. It just takes away the natural beauty of a women.

I don't like them. Last G/F had a couple, easily hidden. Not a deal breaker for me, but they aren't something I am drawn to. I get that tats are mainstream now, even so, if you've got neck and face tattoos, I see that as nature's warning sign to stay away.

Nothing says middle-aged divorcee better than a boob tattoo. I think it's the law. My ex got one or so I hear. It's supposedly a demonstration of independence. In her case, it was a demonstration of mental illness.

I was in the .mil for 30 years and have not a single tattoo. Now that I've been out for closing in on 20, I may finally get one.
