Paging Blademaker - a unique piece by RW Loveless

currently on gun broker:

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/882389249

Mr. Loveless, who passed away about 10 years ago, was a fantastic knife maker, but he also dabbled in firearms. this is one of about 35 he ever made/modified. some searching shows that prior versions of his work on the SW Model 41 have gone for up to $8,000. :faint: just a bit outside my bidding range. but perhaps within yours or some other baller here.

Didn't know he messed with guns.
It's still cheaper than most of his knives out there, with some hitting 6 figures.

Same here, but I already have an Ed Brown custom 1911 so I'll pass on this.

I want to love it because I have a grasp on the amount of work it took to make it so fugging ugly. I can appreciate the vision but the end result is awful in my view.
Plus, according to the seller it is now chambered in .41LR and I bet ammo is a bitch to find.

I emailed him yesterday to let him know it started as a Model 41 and is chambered in .22 LR ( Long Rifle)

Maybe one of those "know it all" sellers :kick:

Probably just a typo... I was poking the seller a bit though.
