Mornin bar peeps. :seeya:

Only concert I had literal front row center tix for was Saxon, Quiet Riot, and White Snake. Carlos tossed me a pick. Saxon singer was hawking loogies into the crowd but they went over us because we were so close. Three chicks right behind us screamed through the entire White Snake set like The Beatles at Shea stadium. I so wanted to slap the shit out of them.

One rocker (or promoters) sold cheap grey plastic construction hats...if you were on the rail you needed it.

Sounds good. Looks like the closest one to me is Ellicot City MD. Ain’t going there. Place floods when there’s a light rain. Plus it’s probably 2 hours away outside of Baltimore.

We took off to Delcambre yesterday and bought 28lbs of *fresh shrimps.
left some whole, de-headed and peeled some.

Used 2lbs. of 91 count and taught the kids to make etouffee' the old fashioned way....I aint much on *that* kind of etouffee.

And Garf---I didn't have enough heads and shells to make shrimp stock. :(

*fresh at the dock, boat been out 10 days and shrimps on ice.

41 years ago a song written by Jim Steinman and produced by Todd Rundgren hits the airwaves.
Many of the musicians who performed on the song/track were members of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, and Todd Rundgren's Utopia.

Originally written for the Bat Out of Hell album, it was also the concert closing song by Meat Loaf, and also a rock musical.

41 years later you still get:

Sounds REALLY good! How much, if you don’t mind me asking. About the same as a restaurant meal for two? Sounds restaurant quality. I figure when it’s just the two of us we might do something like that. We’ll probably eat a lot more salad too.

BTW how do you like them Japanese knives?

That’s a lot of dadgum shrimp!

The etoufee I made was really good. Have to try again. Plus it’s getting cool enough to make your all-day gumbo. Been thinking about that a lot lately. :yesnod:

I have some lobster stock and two tails. Might have to make some bisque today.

Did not know that. Been a TR fan for a long time.

Karla DeVito and Robby Benson have been married for 35 years. Seems like an odd match but obviously it works. They look happy. :)
