For the life of me... I can't imagine why the two new majority owners... didn't change the name of the company? The stigma about Hennessey will live on - every time his name is heard.

That's a very good question. Maybe it was a stipulation of the buyout contract. Though I can't imagine why anyone would buy into a company and think they're going to tackle the task of changing peoples' minds when they could have taken that money and started their own shop, or changed the name.
