C7 Fog/Auxiliary Lamp Installation
 

There is no factory anything for a C7 auxiliary lamp, so I decided to do one..............I like lights.:D

Disclaimer: This is not a GM product for the C7, to my knowledge, there are no after market auxiliary/fog lamps specifically designed for the C7...........at this time.

Purchased Federal Signal's MicroPulse Wide Angle light (MPSW9-A) to install in the grill. These are basically flashing LEDs for utility/safety type vehicles, but a steady burn can be programmed for my application. I installed the lights to not necessarily light up the road (stock light system does that quite well), but mainly for aesthetics and a more visible presence.

I like the end result and I just have to be different, and besides, I can't stand to be parked next to another's that's exactly like mine.

For me, not a quick job, took me most of the day, slow, but thorough.

Mmmmm.......not a fan Of auxiliary lighting that has a different light color, sticks out and doesn't look stock. Just looks stuck on to me.

I like the lights in that location, but not crazy about the yellow color. Would look better if they were white light! :seasix:

Does this setup have a separate switch for the fog lights or do they light every time you turn on the headlights?

It appears that you power the fog lights from the corner markers which makes me wonder about the switch.
