God I hate waiting.
 

This is the 2nd Vette I've ordered, but for some reason this one is killing me with the wait. It may be the fact my last one was back in 2000... and I drank heavily back then. :shots:

How long do you have to wait?

It's scheduled to be built the week of 8-11... then probably a 2 week quality hold before they start shipping. Since I'm only about 4 hours from the factory, it'll probably be around 9-1.

I have reservation for the Corvette Caravan at the museum on the 27th, so I'm hoping maybe it'll be here for that, but I'm not holding my breath.

Mine from order to delivery, exactly 8 weeks. I went on line and read the owner's manual several times just to familiarize myself so I wouldn't look that stupid when I picked it up. :D

FWIW: It took me 6 months to the day from when I ordered it at the first dealer to when I picked it up from Bud's in Ohio.

Still not enough to make me drink. :)

Study the owners manual. Lot's of different bells and whistles on the new one.

This is my 3rd factory order. My 93 C4 was no problem.
In 2003 there was a constriction on the Millenium Yellow and dealers were actually given an allocation. Something to do with the 3 step paint and the EPA. Had an order with an LA dealer, and after a few weeks I found out they had no allocation so I ordered from a dealer in La Mesa. 200 miles away.

I have already canceled an order for my C7 Z51, with one dealer that had not placed my order in the system after having my deposit for 4 weeks.

Placed my order with another dealer, and now I have an order in the system as of 9-3. I can hardly wait. I love this car.. If I didn't have my C4 to help me get through the weekends I don't know what I'd do. Probably go sit in a Chevy show room. :D

GM ordered a Stop Delivery notice to the dealers for an steering wheel airbag issue.
