Spotted my first Saw-whet Owl on a morning walk. This picture doesn't really give you a sense of just how little they are.

He's not eating anything, he's just looking over his back.

Awesome shot. A nature center near me has some Barred Owls but nowhere near as cool. :cheers: :hurray:

We have those around here too. Two days after I took this video all three fledged.


The Saw-whet didn't seem too worried about me. By time I lowered my camera he went back to sleep. I didn't stick around long either. Got my shots and left him alone.
