I don't eat dairy products (vegan), but I'm going to watch for that wine truck...

Holy shit! How'd they get a license to do that? I'd gladly turn my ice cream truck into a booze truck. :yesnod: Hell, I'd love to be able to put some booze in our ice cream!

Beats me, but they sold out of everything they had in the truck in 30 minutes. They come to my neighborhood a couple times a week and I would see them parked by the pool on Saturdays back in the summer

I'm heading out to dust off the ice cream truck. See you in a couple of days.

All this talk of ice cream and booze, reminded me of the first time I went to the Air and Water show in Chicago. I was surprised to find out that they didn't allow alcohol at the viewing area, which is just the beach of Lake Michigan. But you could bring coolers with like sodas or water. There were cops everywhere checking coolers supposedly. I bought a couple of small cheap coolers, some bottled water and ice tea, and filled a couple bottles with white rum and dark rum. Once at the main viewing area, there are tons of vendors selling different foods and drinks, all non-alcoholic. But they had these awesome frozen fruit drinks in a variety of flavors. They are the perfect vehicle to spike with rum. They were literally selling virgin pina coladas and red punch.

The first time I went to mix a frozen drink with my illicit rum, the locals there saw what I was doing and formed up around me like a phalanx of guards, allowing me to be as blatant as I wanted. Later I would do the same for several other criminals like myself. The only people I saw get in trouble for booze was some 20-somethings who actually thought they could just bring in a huge cooler of beer with just a single layer of water bottles hiding it.

Only time I eat ice cream is if it's in a really good old school chocolate malt...made with extra malt powder.....no liquid malt ! :issues:

My wife makes a french vanilla bean ice cream. Sometimes she'll add Maker's Mark (without cooking off the alcohol). Makes for a really smooth ice cream that doesn't crystalize because of the alcohol.

Then she'll add fresh peaches.

Yeah, it's REALLY good!
