Car Bought - 96 LT4
 

Interesting process buying a car from out of State, arranging shipping etc. A bit of a challenge getting it licensed, some hoops in California...SMOG, Vin Verification, but happy to report I got that straightened out yesterday. Thank GOD for AAA DMV Services.

Car is an Unmodified, all original BASE Red on Red 1996 LT4 with 13,900 miles. Cosmetically, the car is pristine MINT inside and out. Still had the original Goodyear tires that rode like wood obviously. Replaced those yesterday with Continental Extreme Contacts.

I'm going to have to go through this thing and replace all fluids, belt hoses etc, but the car runs and drives well and everything WORKS.

Looks like you bought a nice garage queen. Apply a good protectant on the paint (Norm approved) and drive it!

Same here. Had black on black. Great car until jack wad hit me from behind at 75mph and broke my ****ing back. Had to learn how to walk again.

Wish I had that car again.

OP, aren’t parts hard to get? Particularly electronic parts?

Probably the cleanest C4 I’ve ever seen.

You may be a little off on the poo-pooing C4's, there are a lot of nice C4's out there, and they are making a come back shaking off the stigma.

I will say 31k since they didn't make that many and it's a California car.

Is being considered a Kommiefornia car an asset or liability?
