GWiz crushes it at the ProSolo!!!
 

We are on our way back to her house from the venue at the ZMax Dragstrip in Charlotte, NC, but she finished 2nd of 12 in her class, beat 3 national champions, and was only 0.12 seconds off of my total weekend time (best left and right course times added together), in fact, she beat my right course time by a few tenths. She was the fourth fastest female of 25+ women.

3rd, 4th and 5th all have national championship jackets. The crowd went wild when she accepted her trophy. She is good in the Scion FRS that she's competed in for the past 2+ years (but has never beat 3rd and 4th), so nobody saw this coming. Her name is being thrown around the national autocross inner circle quite a bit now. SO MANY top names came up to speak with her today. Very proud of GWiz...obviously.

I KNEW the C8 was a killer in ProSolo. The launch control is a huge deal with a 200' drag race tree start. Reaction times count.

Another tidbit...GWiz registered for L1 (women on race rubber.) Class only had 3 people, which should have remained a class, but they rolled it into L3. Had that not happened, she'd have her first national tour win. Also, the STR car that won her class, if you look closely, her raw times are faster on both sides. There are 2 index classes on the tour that have sweatheart PAX numbers...STR and SS.

She and I have committed to do the ProSolo in Bristol, TN the weekend before the 4th of July. I get that whole week off, but will have to take a few days for the Pro (Thu-Fri).
