We're in the middle of the "spaghetti strands" path projections here in PA. We could use the rain.

Spence is in lower Mississippi, if I recall, He'll be on the dirty side of the storm.

Coastal Alabama here. We're gonna get an almost direct hit. When it jumped to a cat 2 I decided to put the shutters on, which was the first time they had been used. Would have gone much smoother if the anchors would have lined up with the holes in the shutters.

Watching the Bama game now.

Got rain most of the day from one of the outer strands. Nobody's complaining, that water was pretty welcomed.

10:15, slightly breezy. Still have all utilities, damn glad I don't have satellite. Pretty sure I wasted a lot of energy today.

Sea Six 10-07-2017 10:34pm

Getting pretty flipping windy out there right now.

Uncle Meat 10-08-2017 2:14am

We're getting a steady light drizzle here.

good luck for those in the path. When Irma came through here, we were out of power for a week and a half. Yard was flooded (I live on lake), tree down.

I spend the storm in Mississippi though.

Sounds about right and we're just over an hour West of you. Still remember when that bish Sandy rolled through.

Lots of rain and wind but pretty minor compared to others I've been through. Was surprised that I didn't lose power. I'm about 120 miles east of Biloxi where it made landfall.

Just walked the half mile between my house and the highway and there's one small tree down blocking about half the road. I'll see if my neighbor will bring his tractor so we can pull it off the road.

vetteman9368 10-08-2017 10:28am

Total extent of damage; back yard gate blew open, rose bushes lost some foliage. Now I get to take these God forsaken shutters off
