My son would never think of it, he's deployed in Iraq at this time........and if he did, my father would rise from the grave and slap the shit out of him.

my son is 12 years old, he set me down and told me that he would be very disappointed if i was to agree with nfl players ect. i think he understands the issue....good kid

No do that home, you do it in public and you could get reported for child abuse.

I hit my kid for mouthing off to me and some biddy in the school parking lot saw it called the cops. We were home about a 1/2 hour and 4 cops and a social worker showed up. After about a hour they left and the report was expunged. The story the old biddy told the cops made it seem like I was Mike Tyson pummeling some boxer in a corner'

I did not hit the kid that hard and only once, just made a point, but word to the wise be careful.

I'm very grateful that this is something that I don't even have to think about with my kids. Their lives are so far ahead of and removed from this nonsense...makes a dad proud.
