Windows guy since 1992 but went from a cheap Android (was a great phone though) to iPhone in 2019.

I didn't have any cell signal at home then (2019) so wanted to use Wifi calling, but the cheap Android didn't have that option. So had to buy an iPhone.

FWIW: Having been familiar with Windows, the Android was easy to figure out. The iPhone is not, nothing is logical on them. They are nice otherwise.

I was Apple -> Android -> Windows Phone -> Android-> Apple

I like Android better but my whole family is on Apple so iMessage and FaceTime are the only reasons I stay on Apple. Seriously thinking another Android next.

If Windows Phone had come out first, it would have been a major player. Best UI ever.

My $150 Android phone (Motorola dot com) bought over a year ago has wifi calling. It's automatic and I use it all the time.

According to my son, 31 years old and a lot smarter than I am, Android is the way to go.

The Android I had was $60. I would imagine they all have WiFi calling now. My iPhone switches to it automatically when I pull in the driveway. I use an extender for the signal in the house also, works great. I can go outside anywhere probably 40-50 feet from the house and still get a good signal.

A couple years ago they put up different cell towers or something, so I finally have a signal in this hole I live in. But only one bar usually, so I don’t even pay any attention to it with WiFi.

Both.

Whatever is best for application. Phone integration into other devices is 100% iOS. Android phone for a burner.

My $119 Moto phone from that period had wifi calling.
Tmobile started wifi calling back in 2007

Same reasons I'm stuck with Apple. It sucks for so many reasons.
If the tracking feature would work with Android I would switch back now.
