I forgot to charge my camera battery and only got a few shots LOL Several FED slingshots, gassers, and some modern stuff. Might try a video from cellphone later. They sound so good!

I miss drag racing from the 70's. The Pro Stockers looked like real cars and so did the FUnny cars. All the tracks around here have gone to 1/8 mile. I still prefer 1/4 mile racing :cert:

Great pictures. I spent a lot of time at the drag strip when I was a kid. My Dad raced for many years, and we would go with him to the races. This is his original dragster from the mid-'50s. It was a Cadilac powered fuel tank dragster. This is the only picture I have of it.
