A month ago this past weekend...

...I brought home a brand new 2011 135i. Y'all probably saw the thread. Now look at it...

That's not a reflection of the ground, it's really covered in brown dirt...

Break-in period? We don't need no stinkin' break-in period!

Was at an instructor clinic this past weekend having some skid pad fun. Don't worry, it's all sparkling clean again. :)

Tank of gas - $45
Car wash - $20
Putting a 1 month old Bimmer sideways on a wet skid pad - Priceless

Take it back.

Is this your first black car sweetie? Better get used to it.

Still a great looking car, even covered w/ dirt. I never understood people who buy a vehicle and won't drive it for fear of getting it dirty. But then again, I drive a Jeep ...........

Black is not a color, it is a career.

So after almost a year...how do you like it? Would you still buy a new one?

LilRedCorvette 01-21-2012 12:14am

Love it!

In a New York minute :yesnod: most fun Bimmer I've ever had...and I've had 3 before this one. Wouldn't change a thing about it...love all the options on the car.

I've been taking it to instructor clinics and autocrosses and have had a blast...car is very tossable, zippy (gotta love the sound of the twin scroll turbo). A great handler on tight courses. 6 piston brakes stock! :hurray:

On road courses though I still prefer the vettes...

I had a 71 2002 and I think it was still one of the most fun to drive cars I have ever had.
