It’s a big bowl. Made sure there was enuf to go around. Plenty left tho.

All the veggies n junk, except scallions, were sautéed in sesame oil beforehand.

A coworker lives about a mile away and had never been. He ordered carry out a couple weeks ago and posted pics. Made me jelly.

You SOB...That Looks Good...I'm hungry now ...10/10

8/10. Needs more broth, but gave you +1 for having tongarashi. Looks good. Not Shinjuku good, but what is?

Thanks hig! That’s an 11 factoring in the -1 deduction. :woohoo:

I figured you or NAV might chime in. That’s a high compliment.

Lived in Japan decades ago. Ramen/gyoza was always my go to. There is no comparison, but this Toki Underground joint in DC comes damn close.

Tomorrow is curry. Not that Indian crap either. :ack:

When I make ramen at home, I always throw some steamed gyoza into the ramen as well....

I taught NAV how to make curry.... yeah, not that Indian crap.

Noice! Have to try that!

We eat the heck out of some homemade gyoza for our friendsgiving. :yesnod:

I use sesame oil, not the seeds. Never thought about using the seeds themselves. Hmmm.

A dab of hot sesame oil in the finished product is a game changer. Try it.
