NFL game last night
I was surprised to see a NFL game featuring KC vs Texans in KC on Thursday. I wanted to watch to see what kind of game play was going to be like, because there was no preseason this year. After the teams came on the field, they started their moment of silence, fans booed them, and then they did Lift Every Voice And Sing, widely considered the black national anthem. The other tidbit came from the 2 game announcers: Chris Collinsworth and Al Micheals who said nothing about the boos from the fans. I turned the channel to watch MASH (1970) which was on TMC with no commercials.
I guess I may quit watching NFL and move to Hockey or quit watching all sports altogether. |
I also watched Mash :datawiz:

Actually not watching TV at all is even more so. Turn the ****ing TV off and go DO something. |

the boos were about fans not liking players personal-politics being brought into the workplace.
Nothing more, nothing less. |
Iron Maiden playing under the influence of meth > Porter camping with you > Moments of silence in sports > BLM plastered on the NBA floors.

Did not watch and will not watch.:cert:

Did not watch, won't be watching any. Just like last year. The players actually go into their locker rooms during the national anthem, which is so incredibly messed up. Yes, I get it. The NFL doesn't want us seeing them kneeling. But it's so far too late for that shit. They hate their own fans, and it shows. And I'm surrounded by cucked-out Chiefs fans who just ignore all the current bullshit because they are sportsball addicted.

Did not watch, will not watch. If I want to be lectured by overpaid ignorant people I will go to the local DNC HQ.

Yeah, I wonder why they booed?
“How would you feel?" “Imagine there is a man who, for the last five years, has assaulted you, on average, two times a year. He has raped you in the past. Then, he shows up at your house at 4:00 in the morning. You wake up to find him standing above you, you have your child in bed with you. He has his 'junk' out and then he sexually assaults you. He leaves the room, you quiet your child and go into the living room. He is gone. You look out the window and your car is gone. You check your purse, your keys and ATM card are gone. You call the cops. Cops show up. As you cry, you describe the sexual assault. The cops tell you this man has withdrawn money from your bank account twice in the last several minutes. Okay, are you 'imagining' all that? Well, then imagine this. The guy who sexually assaulted you has received over TWO MILLION from a 'GoFundMe' account. NFL players, such as Drew Brees, have your rapist's name on his helmet. MLB baseball players walk off the field to support your rapist. EVERY THING I JUST TYPED IS FACT! It comes from the police report on the Jacob Blake incident. Not shit, we have professional sports figures celebrating a friggin' rapist! |
