Trans/diff/ torque tube was $6500. It was done by RTK here in MD. Probably the top Corvette transmission guy on the East Coast. I also had him put a clutch bleeder on and set the trans and diff up for coolers.

Rick is a monster talent with all things trans to rear and does some of the cleanest work I've ever seen.
Also a really nice guy. Bought a couple old school amps from him 10 yrs ago or so.

I'd be interested in the vert if it didn't have BSM's, totally spoils it for me and as we all know they are permanent. No way to remove, sad.

BSMs can be removed. Note it is missing from the fender...

Pretty cool. :seasix: I about 1/2 considered doing the same when they were running the last c7 MY and discounting them. Bought the 427 as an interim ride and it's grown on me so it's likely staying. If we had a longer Vette season, I'd probably be more inclined to swap it out or get a second one.

Have fun with it! :cert:

They cannot. It permanently mars the exterior, once on the car itself is shamed and will not ever be the same.

They can. Seen it done. You do need to have a skilled guy with a buffer, and detail skills to make it look good after removal.:seasix:

You don't understand. I lived the great BSM wars of 2002. Many good men and women were lost in those wars. Those who remember the lost, well, we're changed. BSM's do irreparable harm to a C5. You may as well have a baby C5 and molest it, it's like that. Sure, you can use a hair dryer and leverage it off on a warm summer day, but what is left? The stain of the BSM will never really go away. Some have tried to hide it, but we all know the truth.

 well I saw it done on a silver C5. After he was done and the detail guy was finished I could not tell they were there. Other than the code on the build sticker that shows they were part of the car.:confused5: Might not work great for all colors. I cannot comment on that.:cert:

So far I've had 5 people at work ask about my Vert. Looks like this will be an easy sell.
