It's possible that they got the emails from the NSA, possibly due to Kim Dotcom. That's another story. But anyway, they must have something iron-clad to re-open this case! :dixie:

I think this is all for show. The FBI was made to look corrupt, foolish, incapable and not operating in unison. They will reopen, investigate, ONCE AGAIN, find no wrong doing and seal it shut for good. Hillary can brag that not one but TWO investigations were unable to find any wrong doing.

Thus confirming that the system, and the election, is rigged. And the FBI still looks foolish.

I thought that, but then couldn't make sense of it. If this was indeed the plan... they'd wait until after the election to do this kind of stunt.

FBI investigations don't open and then close in just a few days. But if this does happen (closes in a couple of days with a no-indictment again)... it really makes the FBI look bad.

They MUST have found a smoking gun. NFW would they do this so close to the election otherwise.

Guys, most likely they have found out that *all* her emails are out there. And the people that have them (Kimdotcom and Wikileaks) let them know that they are going to release all of them before the election. So they decided to do this in hopes that they will not release them all. And there's no way they are going to end the investigation before the election is over, and the Wikileaks emails continue drip drip drip during that time - and the FBI knows the minute they do clear Clinton, wham here come the really super damaging emails. So, they had their hands forced. They know Trump is going to win. They want to save their careers. Simple as that.

The other two possibilities are the Doug Band memo detailing his bundling for Bill Clinton Inc. (highly illegal) or they were looking into Terry McCauliffe's finances and found the connection between Hillary, the FBI field agent's wife, and all that stuff.

The PRIOR finding was for show, but, unexpectedly, nobody believed it. NOBODY.

I'm sure there was much incriminating material which the FBI saw, but chose to "protect" HRC. Now, even MORE hits the fan, and more is sure to come. NO PROTECTION CAN BE HAD.

FBI knows HRC is DONE. Self preservation is a powerful thing.

While playing political favorites and trying to 'protect' the 'Ruling Class', the FBI has done irreparable damage to its reputation and credibility IMO.

Anybody with critical thinking skills and objectivity can see this was a cover up and brown-nosing of the highest order. If you or I did something even remotely similar or even LESS we would be sitting in Federal Pound Me in the Ass Prison for LIFE.

I may have to watch CNN tonight just for the joy of it. I want to see how they spin this.

I can't see any benefit for Comey to open the investigation unless there's serious evidence for a different outcome. This will clearly influence the election even though no conclusion will come in the next 10 days.

Under FBI Director Comey the organization changed its motto from "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity" to "Feckless Bullshitting Incompetents".

It appears that Director Comey is hedging his bets. If Hillary wins he continues as Director of the FBI. On the other hand, should Trump win Comey will be among the first in Washington to hear "You're Fired". Trump will not allow Comey to resign but will publicly fire him.

Stating "No one is above the law and the systems are in place to determine guilt or innocence. I am certain I will be found innocent and for that reason, I have made a special request that the case be reopened".

In related news, Bill Clinton has agreed that he will accept his impeachment.

He'll be asked to quietly resign sometime between Christmas and New Years.
