I've heard this before for several months, so is this just another story, or is it happening?:

From the moment President-elect Donald Trump beat the democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in the presidential race, the liberals all over our country have proven just what kind of dirty people they are by starting riots all over America.

Now, some reports are coming in that President Barack Obama has made some plans to attack this by legislating a martial law.

It was reported that Barack Obama may use these rioters as an excuse to declare the martial law. This would mean that Barack Obama would deny the transition of power due to a “national emergency,” preventing Donald Trump from taking his place in the Oval Office. Barack Obama would stay there as a president, which is what the “lefties” have wanted all this time.

There is an evidence that the riots have been on purpose, so Obama would have the opportunity he wants to declare martial law in our country.

President-elect Trump’s supporters in Austin, Texas have realized that the buses were used as a transport for the protesters into their town.

As many of us know, the Dems have been paying these people to start violent protests at Donald Trump’s events all this time during the election.

I refer you to my earlier post. They can do NOTHING. They have NOTHING. Outside of lethal violence and assassination, they have exactly f*ck all to stop Trump from taking the oath in January.

As each state is called for whatever candidate wins that state, the electors for that state are chosen from that candidate's own party.

So all the electors, from all the states that Trump won, are all GOP.

The libbie scum can ask them to vote for Hillary all they want, I really doubt that these REPUBLICANS are going to just say "f*ck it, we're with her."

Those protesters are lazy. As you notice, you hear less and less about them and soon they will back in their moms basements with their Xbox and microwaving up some totinos pizza rolls in between bong rips.

Spence, I'v also heard President (Elect) Trump is going to give out ice cream cones at his inauguration. Is it true? Sure it is, let's all get our suntan lotion, towels, and take a dip in the Washington Mall while there.

How can I get that contract? I'd be willing take my ice cream truck to DC for that.

The estimated 55 MILLION American gun owners would most likely object to martial law. And I strongly believe the vast majority of LEO's and Military would not think kindly of it.

The time for Obama to use Martial Law to seize power and remain in office would have been to keep us out of the polls in the first place... it wouldn't prevent Trump taking the oath on time anyway...

The obvious answer is a President can't legislate anything. And with a Republican House and Senate, I wish him luck.

Lets say, just for shits and giggles, Obama gets up on January 20th and says "aww hell no, this just isn't happening... boom MARTIAL LAW."

What happens next?

Easy. Chief Justice John Roberts (R) swears in Donald Trump anyway at an undisclosed location, Trump is President, and orders the Secret Service to arrest the leadership of the attempted coup de tat.

That's why he won't do it, because to try and to fail means being convicted of a treasonous act and we still execute traitors.

All those "Dreamers" who got legal, albeit temporary authorization to legally remain in the US would disagree with you. Haven't you heard? The Constitution is just a Goddamned piece of paper, so presidents can pretty much do whatever they want now.

The time for a coup d'etat was about 4 years ago, when the country doubled down on a horrific mistake.

If that were to happen, There would be lots more action than those pukes who are demonstrating now. Then, they would really need a safe place.
