Winter storage at the dealer. :cert:

I had the apes changed out this winter. I had 18" Carlini's on and decided to drop them to 14's. It's only a 4" difference but the change is huge. Completely changed my seating position.

My uncle and I installed the 18's six year ago. This time I just decided piss on it. Let the dealer do it since it's there for winter storage.

Gotcha. I wanted to ride today, but it has been raining off and on all day. Roads are soaked, so it will suck to be on a bike.

that's great, especially if you didn't have to change cables. :seasix:

btw, make sure the dealer tightened the riser bolts. I had a set of bars installed once at the dealer and was leaving the parking lot and they ended up in my lap. :Jeff '79:

I dropped a couple #2's off in the pool this morning.

Millenium Vette 04-17-2015 3:15pm

Great looking bike Thomas. The ape hangers look bad-ass.

It's always a good idea to go #2 if you need to before you go riding. :yesnod:

Exact same thing happened to a buddy of mine only he was rolling on the freeway. By some miracle he was able to coast down and not ditch.

Well, it's a bar hopper. Not really set up for long distance. :cert:

I had a Deuce and a Fat Boy. Same thing. Good for a short scoot. And a lot of fun. The softail bikes ate the sexiest no doubt. :seasix:

That is one of the best looking bikes HD ever made IMHO. Love those things.

Mine was a black 100 anniversary bike. It had the "gold key" package as well. I paid 23k for it new. Had it for 2 years and sold it for 22k. The best I ever did on a HD.
