Taurus G2C 9mm 12+1

That Ranch Rifle is an intriguing choice. Let us know how it compares to a modern sporting rifle! While I am certain Taurus builds some quality weapons I have had two less than stellar relationships with the brand; I am quite unlikely to try again.

Mine added today, then lost in boating accident.

It's light at 6 lbs and I already had an illuminated cross hair scope ( 3x9) that fit perfectly. It was cheap enough that it would be easy to move on down the road if I don't like it.

The Taurus G2C is unlike any other Taurus, they shoot very well and are quite reliable. They shoot way better than what they cost.

Nice rifle, looks like it's just over carbine status. :seasix:

That rifle will do a good job of keeping the racoons away. Not so much the pistol, last one I killed with a 9mm took a dozen bullets. Would have left it alone but the dog thought otherwise.

I sold all of my firearms to a collector.

Using FMJ or HP? Last raccoon I dispatched was done with a single shot with a .22LR 9mm is plenty with correct shot placement and bullet choice.

.17 HMR does the deed in spectacular fashion as long as you don't want the pelt. Makes big holes.

in prior years, i would often treat myself to a new gun on my birthday, but this year....well, the stores don't have any selection, so no new gun this year. :slap:

Nice. I saw a new Ruger carbine in 9mm that takes glock mags and is a takedown.

The tan is the second one. It fits me like my 1911-A1 ( as far as pointing "correctly" unlike glocks)

It's very comfortable for me to shoot and fits my large hands well.

LRN handloads to be exact. All shots to the face and shoulders. No time for exact placement. Didn't want my dog getting tore up (again). You'd think those bullets whizzing past her nose would cause some hesitation? Not hardly
