Speaking of GSD's - Meet Callie - Our new puppy
We already have a 5yr old GSD/ChowChow and a 15yr old Jack Russell, but this little doll was available, so...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ps12b1c0de.jpg Thanks to Liz and Kevin for helping us adopt little Callie from the Good Shepherd Rescue of North Texas. After quick (30 hour :willy:) trip to Dallas and back, she has a new home and buddies to play with. Now there is NO room on the couch! :lol: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...psf6590160.jpg |

Wrestling with it has to be a riot right now....:seasix: |
Awwwwwwww, adorable!

Beautiful pup, Russ. :thumbs::thumbs:
I almost brought a German Shepherd/Husky pup home from Nashville right before Christmas. I kinda wish I had... :leaving: |
Nice looking pup.:seasix::shots:

Cute pup. Be ready for everything in your house to be chewed up. GSD's have a destructive teething period that could last up to a year. :angel:

Heartbreaker!

Kevin and Liz also foster some of the rescue dogs. Quote:
She plays toy tug of war with our 5yr old Shepherd. This pup has big brass ones! (for a female :D) Quote:
They are a lot of work and need people, play and exercise. She's a handful right now :willy: Quote:
She loves shoe laces (Kathleen at the rescue warned us) and loves to nip at your toes. |

Mom and three pups were turned into a shelter in Dallas. Not sure why, but just sad. The pups are all adopted, mom still needs a home and is living at the rescue so she's safe. |
Awesome! Good for you guys. :cert:
|
Callie is adorable.
|
What a cute little bugger. :cert: And getting her from a rescue. :hurray:
|
Congrats on the new pup. :cert: Get plenty of pics, they grow fast. :yesnod:
Levi, our greater swiss mountain dog puppy we got in June ( at 12 weeks weighed 24 lbs ) now weighs in at just over 90 lbs at 9 months old. :willy: Best chew toy we found so far has been elk antler. I buy it on ebay and even Levi hasn't broken it in pieces :hurray: ( he bit down on 1-1/2" diameter beef bone and broke it in two at 7 months old ) |
