Winds changed to from the north right before 5 pm. We "used" have clear blue skies.

We're just below Allentown.

I took these pictures at 6:30. You can smell the smoke and feel it burning your eyes and nose/lungs.

I'm about 45 miles or so south of Lake Ontario. It's been hazy here for several days; today was the worst so far, but the weatherman says tomorrow will be worse.

I can't smell it, but a buddy (who is usually full of shit) says he can.

Second picture of the sun over the neighbor's house, there are "PA mountains" in the background that are obscured by the smoke.

I grew up in the Canadian Rockies. The "PA mountains" are hills. :D

Closed up the windows and turned on the A/C!

A few weeks ago before I had AC in the new place I opened the few windows I had in the house over night as it was almost 30ºC in here. Both me and the dog were not very happy.

Anyway I went to bed and put my CPAP on. I woke up 4 hours later choking and gagging. The whole house smelled like a campground with fire pits going full speed. ****ing CPAP was forcing the smoke in the air from the AB fires into me for how long I don't know. I know that I was ill for a couple days afterwards.

That's suck level 10 KP...

I mean, at least it wasn't smoke from B.C. Probably not safe to drive after getting a whiff of that.
