Casablanca Fan Blades
The white blades get pretty dirty with the heat and humidity especially the edges....Casablanca wants way to much for new blades so i asked if I could paint them......they said paint would make them off balance :willy:..... I have some paint left over that I painted a maple cabinet with and it came out really nice looking so, I am painting the blades now and they are looking pretty good too.
I think Casablanca is full of crap.....will find out tonight.....what do all the great OT people here think :confused5: |
paint away.
years ago i bought a used ceiling fan from Habitat for Humanity for the barn, painted it all red, worked fine. |
Have some pennies ready to tape on the blade or blades to re-balance the fan.
|
If you put the same exact amount of paint on each blade I think it will be fine.:seasix:
|
We have/had several ceiling fans from them and others. All have been repainted . Never an issue with balance.
|
Just rebalance, easy

I actually wound up doing the Hunter fan blades first on 23 yr old fan.....with a small roller.
no problem at all...will do the Casablanca blades Monday.... |
I've just taken some 409 with a microfiber towel and cleaned the blades - even my outdoor fans - never had to repaint any blades.
|
Take 'em off, clean 'em, paint 'em, weigh 'em, balance 'em.
