Was thinking about this the other day. "Alien" ladies on television who are hot hot hot when they're "in character" but only just cute, or nothing special, when they're being themselves.

I offer Suzie Plakson, who played Worf's ex-wife on ST:TNG. K'Ehleyr was hot as FIRE, but Suzie Plakson is just cute.

Same with Roxann Dawson, the actress who played B'Elanna Torres.


What do you think? Do I just have an unfulfilled Klingon fetish? What other examples do you have?
