Trump grovelling at the feet of Netanyahu. Our welfare payments to Israel are at an all time high, Trump says proudly. Hey President Trump: weren't we supposed to be getting our allies to pay their fair share of their own defense? Wouldn't that necessarily mean that we give LESS in foreign handouts? There are American vets that need help first. There's a current military that needs help first. There are American taxpayers that need help first.

On the other hand, I'm glad to see the US returning to its traditional allies after 8 years of division. We should be working closely with Israel. We just shouldn't be paying for the privilege of doing so.
