Do you begrudge those that inherited their money?
Are you petty?
Should they give their money away? Should you care? If I inherited millions why is it your business? Discuss. |
If they were left it, it was for a good reason....as long as they don't flaunt it and brag and be jerks.....they should enjoy it.
I wouldn't tell anyone |

Their business and their character. I would just ignore them. |

Nobody's business but those directly involved. |
No

Money doesn’t change character, it only magnifies it.

I've known several people who have inherited decent wealth. Most are smart people who dont show off. The others ,mostly, are asses who eventually lose the money.

How someone got ANY money is nobody's business.

But still don't care either way. |

Really none of my business. As far as I know, folks I associate with may be very well off or just about paying bills, but don't flaunt it or discuss their finances, or complain about what they don't have.
My recently deceased friend did flaunt his lifestyle though, a horse degenerate, pool shark, gambler, card counter, etc. Wore the diamond horseshoe pinkie ring, gold chain necklace, gold bracelet, Rolex, 3 Vettes, '60, '79, '14, beautiful home, and took care of his family plus an Army vet. He flaunted it, but never shoved anything in your face. |

No. No. It isn’t. |
One guy I know, his parents were loaded (old oil money) and when he turned 21 he, along with his three siblings when they turned 21, each got a rather healthy inheritance. IIRC it was like $25 million each. His three siblings burned through it over a couple of decades, partying and generally being "that trust-fund kid". They don't have shit to show for it. This guy though, he worked, got married, had a family, and invested. He's now worth easily $200 million. His brothers and sister are constantly begging money from his very elderly parents but know better than to try it with him.
