I had my new truck all of 30 hours when I brushed up against a poll on the passenger side, corner bumper. Stupid sensor warnings are different than the LAM.

Then a few days later, a big chip in the windshield. :lol:

I did something similar to my Stepdad's 76 Cutlass convertible. Except it was to the whole side of it.

I threw it in the garage and left the next day for basic training.

I went to a wedding and parked next to a flag pole with a concrete base. I remember saying to myself "remember when you leave, that base sticks out". I must have said it a dozen times in my head. Sure as hell, I back out, cut the wheel, and BAM, took out a front fender. I remembered the INSTANT, I heard the crunch.

That doesn't look like a stump, it looks like one of the wood pilings they use to keep cars out of certain areas. And in this case, it looks like it did its job.

That bumper cover looks....askew. In addition to the new lower valence, the frame horns are probably bent, too. The paint damage on the bumper isn't that visible. Any chance of saving it?

That would be the best outcome. Check the gaps carefully, comparing them on both sides of the bumper. If they are the same, you lucked out. Buy a new valence and go forth and sin no more.
