This morning:

RON JEREMY is in a L.A. hospital being treated for an aneurysm that was located near his heart. He is currently in surgery and in good hands. There is NO OFFICIAL report on his condition at this time. We will update his fans and well-wishers as we get proper information from his doctors.

Ron greatly appreciate all the emails and phone messages and will make sure to pass on any updates to his fans as it becomes available.

An hour ago:

Ron is currently in ICU recovering from 2 major heart surgeries today. The surgeries went well. He is NOT seeing ANYONE. He is NOT allowed ANY visitors. His doctors and his family now just want him to rest and have complete privacy. Thank ALL of you, for all your thoughts and concern (and your understanding of the situation during this time).

Not many survive that, he will need some special help.

Like John posted, two surgeries are no good. Imagine all the abuse throughout the years, drinking, smoking, drugs, and lots of junk food. It all get to you at the end.

Back in the day we used to call him "The American Hero" in the barracks; that was before Desert Storm.

He wanted to be a singer but his stage name "John Denver" was already taken:D

A spokesman says porn star Ron Jeremy is recovering from surgery at a Los Angeles hospital after an aneurysm near his heart sent him to intensive care.

Agent Mike Esterman says in an email to The Associated Press that he and others were waiting for Jeremy to awake Wednesday night after a smooth procedure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Esterman says the 59-year-old Jeremy had a heavy feeling in his chest and drove himself to the hospital, where diagnosed the aneurysm and put him in the intensive care unit.

One of the best-known names in the porn industry, Jeremy has said he's appeared in more than 2,000 adult films.

While officially retired he still shows up in films and public events, and appeared in the reality TV series "The Surreal Life."
