The article gave me the impression that the device works best worn as a pendant on a necklace. Car guys can hang it from their rear-view mirror instead.

Hey, I still have one of those things, the 'Vornado.' It swirls the air into the carb like a tornado, to improve performance and help the air/gas mix burn more completely. I've been getting consistent 80-90 mpg in all my vehicles through the years.

Full disclosure: No, I never bought anything like that. I will say that shooting a little carb cleaner in always helped perk things up for a while, though.
